01Service Description

The Service is an iPhone app that imports simrip-format trip files; records or selects short video clips and audio for itinerary items; and lets Users play, save, and share them as trip timelines, Trip Vlogs, and ticket-like archives.

Itineraries, clips, thumbnails, tickets, and other created data are primarily stored on the User's device. The Service may display advertisements and offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove them.

02Trip Files and External Apps

Users may import only simrip-format trip files they are legally entitled to use. Users are responsible for checking the accuracy, completeness, and currency of imported itineraries.

simrip, the App Store, and other external services are governed by their respective providers' terms. Suspension, changes, or compatibility changes in an external service may make part of the Service unavailable.

03Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including programs, designs, UI, logos, and text, belong to us or their rightful owners.

Rights in itineraries, photos, videos, audio, and text that Users import, record, or create belong to the User or their rightful owners. Users must not reproduce, repost, sell, or redistribute the Service's programs, UI, designs, or other materials without permission.

04Use of the App Store

Users shall comply with the terms and guidelines set by Apple when using the Service.

05In-App Purchases

The Service offers an ad-removal feature as a one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are made through the App Store, and payments, refunds, restoration, and related matters are governed by Apple's terms.

06Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of digital content, returns, refunds, and cancellations for customer convenience are not available after purchase. Refunds are handled under Apple's refund policy.

07Prohibited Acts

Users must not engage in any of the following:

• Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
• Criminal acts or acts related to criminal activity
• Unauthorized use, capture, or sharing of itineraries, photos, video, audio, or text that infringes copyrights, portrait rights, privacy, trademarks, or other third-party rights
• Acts that interfere with the Service or an external service
• Unauthorized access, analysis, modification, or attempts to do so
• Unauthorized commercial use of the Service
• Any other act we deem inappropriate

08User Content

Users represent that they have all necessary rights and permissions for itineraries, photos, video, audio, text, and other materials they import, record, save, or share through the Service.

When recording, saving, or sharing video or audio involving another person, Users shall obtain that person's consent where necessary. Users are responsible for content they create and share.

09Service Suspension

We may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice for maintenance, disasters, power outages, communication failures, external-service outages, or any other situation in which providing the Service is difficult.

10Use Restrictions

If a User violates these Terms, we may restrict use of the Service without prior notice.

11On-Device Data and Backups

Itineraries, clips, thumbnails, tickets, and related data are primarily managed on the User's device. We are not responsible for loss caused by device changes, device failure, insufficient storage, file corruption, app deletion, or other reasons.

Removing the App also removes travel memories stored within it. Users shall back up important Trip Vlogs and tickets by saving them to Photos or sharing them. Undo after deletion is available only for the period displayed in the App.

12Disclaimer

We do not guarantee the safety, accuracy, completeness, usefulness, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, permanent compatibility with trip files, or any other aspect of the Service.

Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Except where exemption is not permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount the User paid for the Service during the 12 months preceding the damage.

13Changes to the Service

We may change, add to, or terminate the Service after notice to Users or an announcement through in-app notices or another appropriate method.

14Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms become effective when published in the Service or by another method we deem appropriate.

15Personal Information

Information acquired through the Service is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16Notices

Notices from us will be made through in-app notices, this website, or another appropriate method.

17Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over our location shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes related to the Service.
